II. Register an Alchemy account
(If you have already registered, you can ignore this step and log in directly)
In order to prevent bots from claiming a large amount of test tokens, you need to register or log in to Alchemy before using the Goerli faucet to claim Goerli ETH.
Click on "Alchemy Login" in the upper right corner of the page, or click on "Please signup or login" below the input box to register an Alchemy account.
You can register an Alchemy account using your Google account, SSO account, or email. The following example is for registering with a Google account. Click the "Sign in with Google" button, and you will be redirected to the Google account login page.
After entering your personal Google account, click "Next" to proceed with the verification. In the next pop-up page, enter your Google account password to log in. Once you've successfully logged in, you'll be automatically redirected back to the Goerli faucet website, and you'll see a prompt indicating that the Alchemy Account is now logged in.
